Daniel Crawford is without a doubt, one of the hottest prospects in MMA today. This rising
star is a prime example of a flawless modern-day mixed martial artist. With some dangerous
striking and a tenacious attitude, this fresh and formidable fighter displays nothing but heart
and talent throughout each and every fight. That is why at the young age of 24, Daniel
Crawford has accomplished what some fighters might achieve in an entire career.
Daniel began his professional career fighting for UCMMA. He put in a pair of memorable
performances, including a vicious finish over Pablo Ben which ended in the very first round.
This was the beginning of a notable highlight reel of perilous striking and indelible finishes
that would propel Daniel into the big leagues. And that’s exactly what happened next.
He then made an appearance on Cage Warriors and produced another unforgettable bout
where he walked away with the third win of his career. Even at this early stage in Daniels
professional career it was evident that he was able to stand toe-toe with some of the
toughest fighters around. From there, Daniel continued to produce win after win and
consequently he was awarded with the opportunity to fight for his first title.
The Warrior Fight Series Featherweight Title. Daniel’s first chance to fight for a belt, and
what a fight it was. He displayed an abundant amount of heart and a breath-taking level of
athleticism to out-strike, out-class and out-fight his opponent on every level. And as a result,
his hand was raised and after a five-round war he was crowned champion.
Daniel’s next title challenge arose at BAMMA 31. He was against a formidable opponent
who had a considerable amount of experience over him. His opponent, Damien Lapilus, who
had a record of 15 wins 7 losses and 1 no contest at the time had more cage time and more
experience. But this wasn’t an issue. Daniel made short work of finishing his opponent with
his most dangerous striking display yet. After Daniels outstanding performance, he was
crowned the new BAMMA Featherweight Champion.
Daniel Crawford won his first title at the age of 21, and he then became the BAMMA
Featherweight Champion at 24. Also, Daniel has recently just signed a lucrative contract
with the Viacom owned, Bellator MMA. Daniel is set to take the stage on one of the largest
platforms for MMA in the whole world. Keep your eyes open, because success for Daniel is
inevitable. And when he takes the Bellator cage, the whole world will see that for Daniel
Crawford, the sky really is the limit.
